Debate
Mission/Purpose
The mission of the GSMST Debate Club is to help develop informed citizens and skilled professionals through weekly debates about controversial topics. To achieve this, the Debate Club hosts weekly structured debates in Room 2.163 on a range of student-generated subjects. In addition to sharpening critical-thinking and rhetorical skills, Debate Club fosters a spirit of community and conviviality among its members, and offers a space for students to unwind and socialize with one another.
