Community Service and Volunteer Hours

Students in the class of 2026 must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service in order to graduate from GSMST. Beginning with the class of 2027, there is no community service graduation requirement, however, these students can still earn a cord for graduation. Students who record at least 200 approved community service hours will earn a community service cord to wear at graduation.

Students can enter and verify volunteer hours using a platform called Mobile Serve. Students learn about this program in advisement classes. Students can contact their school counselor during Counseling Corner during lunch in the cafeteria each Wednesday for more information and assistance with Mobile Serve.
